SaaS Spend Management Software

Genuity

Flat-rate IT platform that bundles SaaS and vendor spend management with a help desk and asset tracking, and gives the software away outright to buyers who purchase licences through it.

About Genuity

Genuity's business model is the thing to understand first, because it explains the price. The company calls itself "The Costco of IT": it pools purchasing across a member base it reports as more than 10,000 IT professionals representing over $4.5 billion of IT spend, resells software and hardware through that leverage, and claims over $50 million in collective member savings. The management software is the on-ramp. Customers who route at least $12,000 a year of gross purchasing through Genuity — Microsoft licences and similar — get the full platform on a Community plan at no additional cost.

Pay cash instead and it is still cheap by category standards. The Full Platform runs $99.99 per month billed monthly, and single-focus plans covering vendor management, asset management or the help desk sit at $39.99 per month. Every plan carries unlimited users, which is what makes flat pricing unusual here: most competitors meter by employee or by application count. A free trial is available without a card.

Six modules ship together — IT help desk ticketing, hardware asset management, SaaS and vendor spend management, contract management, telecom expense management, and network monitoring. That breadth is the trade: a lean IT team gets one system instead of four, while a finance-led buyer wanting deep benchmark data, negotiation-as-a-service or procurement approval chains will find those absent. Genuity was founded in 2017 by Colum Donahue and is based in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, outside Chicago.

Notes
Flat-rate plans with unlimited users on every tier. Full Platform at $99.99/mo billed monthly covers all six modules; the Vendor Management, Asset Management and IT Help Desk plans each sit at $39.99/mo billed monthly and differ by which module is primary. The pricing page also displays higher annual-billing figures ($124.99 and $49.99) labelled as a 20% saving, which is inconsistent with the monthly rates as presented — treat the annual figures as unconfirmed and check them with the vendor. A Community plan grants the full platform free to customers who, in the vendor's wording, 'are required to spend $12,000 per year in gross sales' through Genuity on eligible purchases such as Microsoft licences. Free trial available with no credit card required and nothing to download. Note that older third-party listings (GetApp among them) still advertise a $29.99 flat monthly rate; that figure no longer appears anywhere on the vendor's own pricing page.
