Subscript
Subscription analytics, billing, rev rec, and A/R automation built for sales-led B2B SaaS.
About Subscript
Sales-led B2B SaaS produces a specific kind of billing mess — hybrid plans, custom payment terms, usage-based components negotiated deal by deal — and Subscript is built for the finance team stuck reconciling it. The analytics side computes 57+ SaaS metrics, including ARR, CARR, NRR, GRR, LTV, and CAC; the operational side invoices those messy contracts, generates ASC 606/IFRS 15 revenue schedules, and automates collections, with the vendor advertising 20+ hours saved per month and reduced DSO. Analytics came first — Sidharth Kakkar (who previously scaled edtech Freckle to $40M ARR) and Michelle Lee founded the company in San Francisco in December 2020 as a 'subscription intelligence' product — and the billing platform grew around it.
Two things stand out in an evaluation. Pricing is quote-based but with published ballparks, which is rarer than it should be: $15,000 a year minimum, around $24,000 typical, up to $150,000, deliberately not charged as a percentage of revenue. And the company itself runs fully remote across 20 countries, 100% asynchronous, with no internal meetings. Integrations cover QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Stripe; customers include Pave, AcuityMD, and EliseAI; a $15M Series A led by Pelion in February 2025 brought total funding to $21M.
